Good product. Recommend for gaming keyboard with low price.

It feels truly like a mechanical keyboard! and very decent pricing among the category

I'm from the early ages of computing. I have a review of Windows 2.0 somewhere. Yeah. So i learned and cut my teeth on clicky keyboards. I love the apple magic keyboard on my macbook pro and for my microsoft surface I needed a better keyboard when using it on my desk. This keyboard is outstanding value. Only annoyance is the lack of cursor keys or the fact you have to enable them but that is minor. At the price you cannot go wrong. Totally worth it and fun to use. Ahhhh JOY!!!!

This is my first ever mechanical gaming keyboard that I have been regularly using. I play Valorant with this keyboard, but also use it for other regular tasks as well. I previously bought a Redragon keyboard months ago, but ended up returning it because the keys just didn't feel very responsive, but that isn't the case with this Punkston keyboard. As someone who hasn't regularly used a mechanical gaming keyboard before, I have to say I'm definitely satisfied with how clicky and responsive the keys are. While the keys are pretty loud, it's what you'd expect from any typical mechanical keyboard. Also, if you're used to typing on a membrane keyboard like on a laptop, I would recommend getting a wrist rest to give your wrists a more even surface to rest on. Definitely recommend for the value, durability, and ease of use.

Basic specs
Optical hot-swappable PCB -every standard optical PCB is inherently hot-swappable
60 percent layout - Since I prefer 65 percent, personally I feel 60 is a bit small but does a great job of conserving desk space.
Detachable USB-C - always great to see. Good for on-the-go use and when you want to customize your keyboard with your own cable.
Included Angled USB-C to straight USB-A cable - obligated to include.
OEM profile ABS plastic shine-through keycaps - fairly standard for prebuilt keyboards of this type and price range, nothing special.
Wire keycap puller and metal switch puller - Great last touch. Plastic keycap pullers can actually harm keycaps, so it's nice to see a wire one included.
Build
For 50$, the cheap mostly plastic build is nothing unexpected. Overall, it's very plainly designed and doesn't stick out on a desk in any particularly good or bad way. After all, it isn't meant to be competing with higher-end prebuilts or even low-end customs. It's very light, meaning it's easy to carry around.
Feel + Sound
Since the switches are set in a steel plate, the typing experience is very stiff. For those used to prebuilt keyboards, this is not to worry, as most prebuilt keyboard plates are some type of metal anyway, and it will not feel much different.
The switches, which are produced by a small company commissioned by Punkston, feel alright. They're fairly rattly, but if it annoys you, you can easily swap them out for something you prefer due to the hot-swap PCB.
The plate is bottom-mounted, meaning it screws into the bottom of the case.
Software
Though its design is nowhere near the level of higher-end prebuilts like razer, it's definitely workable and takes just a few minutes to get used to. It's fairly responsive which is great for a board of this caliber.
Overall, I feel like this is an honest great entry with a hot-swappable keyboard. The experience you get for $50 is unbeatable and customizable to suit your specific preferences. I would 100% recommend this keyboard to gamers and office workers on a budget that want to enter the world of customizable keyboards.
Nicole
I love how compact this keyboard is, It takes up less room than i thought it would! I got the blue clicky switches and they feel nice! The RGB also is nice and bright, I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a smaller footprint keyboard on their desk!
Gar
This was my first optical switch keyboard and I am impressed. The build quality is solid. I got the black switches to try out linear switches and I think I still prefer tactile. This is not a con for the TH61, just a personal preferences.
The white on white design is clean and it'll match any setup. My main keyboard is over 10 years old so I definitely found a new main now with the TH61. Can't wait for a wireless version!

This keyboard is by far the best keyboard I've used within this price range, the switches feel great. I have the brown optical switches. They do feel similar to cherry MX Red switches because they don't have an activation point there more of a linear switch. The RGB lights are very bright and you can see the lights clearly through the keycaps. Pictured above is how I have the keyboard currently set up. I have a few custom keycaps on the board to help out with grip. But all in all this keyboard is worth every penny you spend on it. Especially having it be waterproof to help out with spills. And also having hot-swappable switches if one of the switches breaks.

Purchased the punkston TH61 with red switches. As a gamer the standard (although it still depends on preference) for competitive gaming is usually MX red mechanical switches. However, I don't have the cash to always buy keyboards with MX switches so over the years I've tried other brands of keyboards, some feel pretty bad, while others such as this one makes you rethink why there is a need to purchase $100+ keyboards. The red switches in this keyboard feels exactly the same as the MX red switches in my other keyboard. I know the feeling very well and there is no discernible difference. The actuation force is exactly the same with no tactile feedback (i.e. the "click" in blue switches for example) as to be expected from red switches. Key spacing is slightly tight, but that might actually be a good thing for gaming since you don't need to reach as far. I'm not a big fan of RGB and really only bought this because of its price, but RGB wise the keyboard has preprogrammed settings. Personally I just keep it on a solid blue color. The whole keyboard is built pretty sturdy which is to be expected. The keyboard appears to have n-key rollover (you can press as many keys as you want at the same time) as it registered every keystroke when I put both my palms on the keyboard. The only thing I didn't like about the keyboard was the right angle connector cable. These types of cables do have a fan base mind you, but its not my thing. Regardless, If you need a red switch keyboard, try this one out first as it is pretty much the same for a fraction of the price of keyboards with MX switches!

I wanted to like this keyboard, I really did. And I do. But it's not fantastic. I bought this keyboard because I wanted to have a 60% layout for gaming. For that, it works well. The switches are nice and clicky, I would have preferred tactile browns but the browns they offer are linear :(. They say they are optical switches and frankly I can't tell the difference between mechanical and optical mechanical. They feel good. The Blue switches feel just like a blue switch should. Their software is decent if you can get it to work. A fully addressable RGB keyboard for 30 ish dollars cannot be beat. I definitely recommend this keyboard as your primary keyboard for gaming, however like the description says, I would not do office work on this keyboard for it does not have enough keys to be comfortable to type on. I still prefer the TKL layout for typing and the full size for my day job because I work with numbers. The case is plastic but for this pricepoint I don't expect aluminum. Some screws you can see behind the keycaps but I think throwing a fresh set of black pudding shine through keycaps on this would make it look like a higher end keyboard for an under $50 investment. Overall for gaming this keyboard rivals the Razer Huntsman mini and other 60% layout boards for a very affordable price for a beginner gamer, or someone who wants to test out the 60% layout.

I don't even know where to start with this keyboard. I was looking for a 60% gaming keyboard and stumbled on this one. It looked good on paper, but there are so many gaming keyboards right now that I wasn't sure if this would be any better. The first thing that caught my eye was that it was a real RGB keyboard. You can change the patterns. The software for changing it is simple to use and intuitive. The LED's can get really bright too. Even in a well-lit battlestation, the keyboard RGB stands out. If you crank up the brightness, the colors show up great in pictures. Hardware-wise there are a few things that I really like. Being USB-C is really nice as im trying to get rid of all my micro USB devices. There's really no good reason to have anything with micro USB but you still see other keyboards still use it. The cable with this keyboard is great, high quality, and braided. The casing on it is solid and has basically no flex. The keycaps feel good and the sound from the board is really nice. I am going to be lubing the switches soon for that extra nice sound, but out of the box it's great. For gaming, this keyboard is incredible. Just having more space for my mouse is great. Being able to sit in a position where my arms are in a natural position instead of spreading out due to the 10 key taking up valuable space where my mouse is. My only minor gripe for this (and I really had to be nit-picking to notice this) is the keys have some wobble to them. Its not bad at all to be honest. I also wish they offered PBT keycaps, but that's such a minor complaint.
Too long didn't read version - Amazing keyboard for gaming and productivity. If you are looking for a 60% keyboard, give this one a shot. It has all the modern features that you expect and it works great. I'm a keyboard snob with a LOT of keyboards, and I'd still rate this one as one of my favorites.
Mikel Spencer
So preface that I already own 2 really nice keyboards. This was a spur of the moment purchase some I have wanted a portable keyboard for my laptop. This thing is amazing. It's got some click to the keys, and every key is accurate. I haven't had any mistypes or missed presses. And the RGB functionality is actually impressive. The software could be better but I won't complain. I love that there are profiles for different games/apps so you can always know which keys you're using. It's really sturdy and yes, the base is metal. It's a solid keyboard and I might get my wife one when she goes back to work in the fall!
sarah
The keys are different from what I am used to. This is the first investment I have made of a mechanical keyboard. I only ever borrowed keyboards. I was worried about spending too much on a board and not feeling satisfied with the outcome. I really liked this board because it is so simple and cute. It does the job. For someone who is shopping for something quick, simple, and effective, this is the board for you. There are not a lot of white boards out there, but for this being one of them I would have to say it is very nice. The lighting is very calming to the eyes against the white keyboard. It gives you options to change between colors and such. Pretty cool stuff. I chose the red keys. The function is there. The sound of the keys are very satisfying along with how it feels when I type on it. I really can't complain. I like how when I type it does not have this jittery effect when you go through your keystrokes. I do have to get used to the compactness of the board though. I would have loved it if there was a ten key on this, but it is ok, it works well with or without it. I do homework with this board as well as play on it. It works for a lot of typing and gaming. I do not have any complaints.
Akrom
Very good quality keyboard for the price. Comes with Type C cable. I have been using it for almost 1 months and I haven't noticed any problems. I do like clicking sound from switches, gives that soft comforting confirmation sound.
If you are looking for smaller keyboard for gaming, I would recommend getting this!
Amelia
I have to say, for the price alone this keyboard is amazing. A full rgb programmable hot swappable keyboard for under 40 dollars? It is definitely a little louder than I usually like but nothing that a little mod can't fix! With the price you could buy this keyboard and fully mod it for less than 100 bucks. I was trying to choose between a few keyboards to test and I was a little wary of this one with around 100 reviews but cannot recommend this bad boy enough!
Alaina Abriam
It is a nice size if you don't want a big Keyboard. Also super affordable and nice casual gaming.
Trang Bui
This keyboard is the best. A fraction of the price of others and the brown switches feel wonderful. I was coming from red switches and they feel great. It's small, compact and everything I wanted. The software is easy to use and comes with many options for lighting effects. Highly recommended
sergio
really loving this form factor. The rgb on this board is reeeally good, the switches feel good, nice and easy to use software, oretty nice usb-c cable. Would buy again.
mike
I liked my first one, so I had to get 1 more ;) good build quality.

I've been using this 60% keyboard for around 2 months now, and it has performed well under heavy usage. Despite the keyboard being primarily designed for gaming, I have been using it for college schoolwork, such as large papers that require hours of typing, as well as some gaming sessions. Through both of these situations, I was able to use the keyboard for hours on end without feeling strained. The overall quality is very solid for the price and it holds true to this day. The RGB lighting is excellent, though I do wish there was an additional light under the spacebar to more properly illuminate it. The PTB pudding keycaps give the board a look that stands out from others, the customization is superb. I personally have only used the build-in customization, though there is a vast amount of deeper options accessible online. The unboxing experience was well done as well, providing a formal and professional first experience that left me thrilled to try it out. As far as customer service goes, the assistance is excellent. At one point I needed some assistance and the owner of the Instagram account responded to me in less than 6 hours. The support team was very helpful and answered all my questions. Overall, for a keyboard of its price, the quality is excellent, the RGB is eye-catching, and the customer support is also superb leading me to recommend the keyboard to anyone looking for a gaming keyboard that can do more.
Zakary
Great product for the price. Typing feels satisfying and gaming feels great.

I have been using this keyboard for over a week now. They switches feel great and are starting to break in. The keycaps seem like they will last awhile. The RGB is great and has a lot of great options.
Anas Kadri
This is a great keyboard, i didnt have much expectations. But it has surpassed everything. The keys are mice and tactile, gives great feedback upon a press. I love to type on this, these keys feel alot like a cherry mx browns. Which i love because they arent as loud as blues but they have the same feedback as blues. If you want to buy a nice budget gaming keyboard, you cant go wrong with it. I love it. Especially the low profile tournament style of it, so there isnt the extra numpad saving so much space on my desk. Cant say enough good things about this keyboard.
Joe E
Keycaps are a bit shakey but this is an amazing value for money 60% keyboard.
The RGB backlighting on keys is especially customizable (with the provided software) and every removed key is easy to access via the function layer. I removed my earlier keyboard and gained so much desk space for my mouse!
Jose Bahena
I bought this keyboard with just the hopes of getting a functional keyboard for a new setup and this thing blew me away! No, it's not most amazing keyboard ever but for the price point you just can't beat it. The keys are nice and clacky (something I was looking for) and the build quality is solid and the removal USB-C cable is a nice touch. I just wish it had way to adjust the angle of the keyboard but that's something I can live without.
The software that comes with it shocked me with the level of customization options for the lights and key bindings, but my FAVORITE feature the musical rhythm setting that makes the lights dance like an EQ band. Can't believe that's not even advertised, it was the best surprise with this keyboard!
Craig Michaels
This is amazing! I am typing this review with it! Would totally recommend!

The quality of material is outstanding! When using this keyboard, it almost feels like i go much faster when clicking the keys. I got the blue switch option. In my opinion it's the best. But some people don't like the clicking noise (I love it). The color black looks so elegant. The backlights are cute and can be changed to your choice of color. Definitely recommend you buy it.
James Meinhardt
Very happy with this keyboard. Love the feel of the 'brown' switches.
Daniel Almaguer
I love the light effects it has. Also, the way that it is a bit smaller than other is great for me because my hand perfectly fits on it. I also like the way the keys "click" in a sort of button like feel, that way I never misclick anything. 5/5 would buy again.
Andre
I was really impressed with how good it is typing on this keyboard. I haven't used mechanical keyboards for a few years now, so I was worried I wouldn't get used to it. I chose the brown switch configuration, and the typing pressure and click sound are very satisfying and makes you want o type more.
The keyboard material seems to be high quality and should last long, and the LED lights are just beautiful. I was also impressed with the software provided and how many configurations you have for the LED lights. I highly recommend the product.
Hayden
very good bang for your buck. easy to use good keyboard overall. good for gaming and office work
(I switched the key caps on the outer edge)

Been getting really into mechanical keyboards and wanted to try optical switches. Got black switches for my first time and am really satisfied with the heavier feel of them but just don't know if they are really the key for me for gaming. The board itself feels well made, I wish the keys had a little less wiggle in them but that is a minimal issue. The LED's are bright and crisp, I wish there were more effect options. I love the braided usb-c cable this is something I haven't seen in other keyboards, another cool part that is included is a switch tester which is something I wasn't expecting and put a smile on my face. Overall not sure if you cant beat a hot swappable keyboard with good optical switches for the price.
Michael
The keys feel smooth and responsive. Been using it for normal internet browsing and gaming, feels great for both use cases. Has a nice selection of rgb options and customization. I do wish it had more rgb modes to choose from but that's more of a personal preference. It's small and light so leaves plenty of room on my desk and easy to adjust if I need to move it around. A very great keyboard for my needs.
xuankristy
This keyboard is nice and compact for when all you need to do is type or game. Saving the desk space is nice when you don't need the numpad. The keys feel nice to the touch and actuate accurately without doubling or ghosting.
xuankristy
This keyboard works really well! I got the blue switches, and they're very loud and clicky. I like this, but if you don't, the other three options sound very similar and softer. The rgb is very bright and relatively easy to control. If you're going from a full keyboard to this it might take some getting used to, but its not terrible. Definitely keep the booklet it came with! It has all the shortcuts labeled.

This keyboard is so good for the price. Great software for full customization with all kinds of patterns and full RGB scale lighting. So many different effects including effects when pressing one key at a time. The sound of the keys (I got brown switches) are so crisp and satisfying. The keys themselves feel so nice to press and you really know you're clicking them from the mechanical feedback. I play mainly fps like valorant and it works perfectly. Super responsive and comfortable. The quality itself feels nice and durable and heavy
Amy
I have been using the Punkston keyboard for quite some time now and honestly could say it's a fantastic keyboard with a great price! The software the keyboard comes with is easy to use and the RGB brightness is extremely bright compared to other keyboards I have tried! As I have always used a full size keyboard I was in the market for a 60% and Punkston did not disappoint! Having this keyboard size gives me plenty of space for those first person shooter games that require precision mouse movements. Plus it just looks fantastic with my set up!!! Really satisfied and would definitely recommend as a gift to a gamer!
christy
Great value for money. The switches sound great and it's pretty much what you pay for. The colors are nice and I am excited to switch the key caps! I got brown switches and they're very good for gaming

This keyboard is very good for gaming and typing. The design of the the keyboard is amazing, the case is made from a strong hard plastic. It is a raised keyboard so there are no flip out feet only rubber feet on the back.
There are a lot of different light options to pick and choose from. They have made is very simple to use other functions by clicking and holding the FN key located at the bottom right of the keyboard each key that has a different function
lights up so its easier to find the function you are looking for. There is a braided USB type c cable aswell one keycap puller and one switch puller.

I really like the feel of this keyboard, it leaves more room on my gaming mousepad, let alone my desk.
Penelope Puentes
I love this keyboard. The value you get for this keyboard is amazing. The keyboard feels good and the program for customization runs good. Overall I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a smaller sized one.
Christopher S. Schulenberg
Right from the unboxing I was super impressed with this keyboard. Better quality than I was expecting for the price. The key pressure and throw are just right, with a super satisfying strike action. I used auto-hotkey to remap a soft numpad and arrow keys, keeping movement away from home row to a minimum. Really enjoying and wish I would have had one sooner!

Straight out of the box you will notice that it is a heavy duty by its weight. Few notes for buyers who are wondering the size of the keyboard I placed my old standerd sized keyboard next to it as compression in the video I attached. It definitely is smaller, but everything about it is thought through. For people like me who run multiple OS on their PC's my experiance is that I got frustrated that the arrow keys wouldn't work at kernal level but after i reached out to customer service they taught me that I needed to unlock the arrow keys by pressing "Fn+ .>" that will unlock the keyboard arrow keys that should solve the issue for anyone getting frustrated that they couldn't choose which OS during boot. Another thing to note that customer service are so quick to respond I had an issue with my type C cable I got so I reached out to them and we where able to resolve that. They also took that concern very seriously so that they can increase focus on QA during shipping. I 100% recommend them. I am currently using it to play Elite dangerous Oddesy

This is a solid offering at its price point for a mechanical keyboard with RGB backlight illumination. I purchased this with the red, linear switches which are my preference. I would place these switches similar in feel with most other versions of linear switches (Cherry, Kailh, etc.). The keyboard comes nicely packaged in a clean black box and in addition to the keyboard and braided, angled USB-C to A cable, also comes with a keycap puller and a switch puller. It's hard to beat this offering at its price and I'm definitely satisfied with it.

What Comes Inside The Box?
The Punkston TH61 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard comes with all accessoris that you need to customize it, to better suit your experience. This include a switch puller, Plastic keykap puller, a high quality braided USB-C cable and of course the Keyboard
Build Quality:
It is made out of a durable and very thick high quality plastic casing, it got very good weight to it, that has a good premium feel to it. The only downside is that it doesn't have a kickstands to adjust your angle preference.
The keycaps on the Punkston TH61 60% Keyboard are made out of ABS plastic, the keycaps are OEM profile, which is commonly seen in most mechanical keyboards, they are the best so far, in terms of performance and quality.
For the price, it's very well made and the keykaps are good, but as most keyboards with time they will start to shine and feel smooth with typing.
The switches on the Punkston TH61 Keyboard in the GK61 are great mechanical switches. They come in many different options, the one I got was the blue, but they also come in black, red and brown. The blue is very clicky thought.
Overall, very high quality keyboard, and I've been loving the compact 60% size, and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it.

Really great product. The build quality is rock solid and it has features that you usually only find on much more expensive keyboards. Keep in mind this is a 60% size so it is very compact and lacking of a lot of the standard keypad. It's great for saving space and having more room for your mouse. The RGB patterns are super cool and the downloadable software adds even more customization with colors as well as custom macros.

Looking for a mechanical keyboard, maybe a 60%? This is definitely the board you may want.
I got the Red Switch version of the keyboard, for something that isn't too noisy, but also isn't as heavy in actuation force.
Coming from my RK61, the Punkston TH61 beats it out in almost every category, especially since the TH61 uses optical switches, which are far superior to soldered in switches.
Punkston also goes as far as lubing the stabilizers to keep the noise reduced on most of the stabilizers.
Optical switches are better in the long run because they respond to keystrokes faster than a soldered board could.
This is a positive thing, especially in terms of competitive games, where having a quicker move than an opponent is key.
The board is FAIRLY silent. Though a bit noisy during typing with the Optical Reds, if you wanted something linear but a little quieter, you should definitely go with Optical Blacks instead, so your fingers aren't forcing the caps to thump at a faster rate with such a low actuation force.
If you're in the market for a mechanical keyboard, and want something that's going to be a nice offering, offer faster response time, and be a very decent option in terms of typing experience, this should definitely be a keyboard you consider.
This has replaced my other keyboards I generally have in rotation, and probably will remain that way for a long time.

After buying the Arturia Audiofuse Studio audio interface, my already-small desk got even smaller so something had to give. I decided to run with a smaller 60% keyboard in lieu of my full size Logitech unit which I've been using for a good part of 3 years now. So after picking up the Punkston TH61 with BLUE optical switches, I was thoroughly impressed. The build quality is phenomenal and the RGB backlighting looks great and gives off a nice "artsy" vibe in my home recording studio. The keys feel nice and sturdy and you can hear their precise clicks across the keyset. I'm pleased to recommend this keyboard and will be buying again from Punkston in the near future! Looking forward to them releasing a heavier duty RGB mouse.
Luna
Before this, I was using a full-sized mechanical keyboard with blue switches. Im already loving this 60% Punkston keyboard with brown switches way more. Not only does the keybaord feel like it's crafted with quality materials and designed meticulously, but the value that you get with this keyboard insane. Being able to have full RGB at this low of a price with this quality is so nice and has helped take my desk setup to the next level. The brown switches have an amazing sound to them as well. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone whether you're on a budget or not.

I'm new to the world of 60% boards, but I'm a big fan of this one. The keys and case are a consistent white. The rgb looks absolutely beautiful. I was skeptical about the key switches, but I really like them. They're heavy and have a great return. It comes with a REAL key puller and nice braided cable. I can't wait to start modding it

So I am what you would call an enthusiast when it comes to mechanical keyboards, but I got this for my girlfriend that wanted to try one. I'm pretty impressed by the board especially since it has a degree of water resistance which will help if we ever spill a drink on it. The board is a good starter board for anyone on a budget or if you want to dip your toes into the world of mechanical keyboards.
Martin
I want to know what is a compact gaming keyboard feel like and and I try the Red version of the keyboard as starter. This feel like a fresh air to me. It is really Fast and Responsive for gaming, I tried FPS with it and it feels like I could perform action faster than my previous non-mechanical keyboard. Not to mention the size of it on the table make it spacious, I could put notebook or something on the desk and it still has space. However, for office use, I struggled with Fn keyboard function and need time to adapt with it, it was kind of inconvenient to change to arrow key but luckily it stay on and I don't have to hold the Fn with any key to make it work. The keyboard feedback is great and clicky and I think I would like to try another switch in the future.

I had just started to shop around for keyboards and mouse for casual gaming and working from home. I'm new to the mechanical gaming world so I bought a couple of keyboards to test out. I really liked this keyboard for its compact size and the customizability through the software. This keyboard will probably become my gaming/traveling keyboard because I didn't realize how much I use the number pad on my full sized keyboard for work. This is my first 60% keyboard and I had no problems adjusting to it (except for the arrow key toggle still trying to get use to it) The keys aren't too loud and its easy to type on. There is some weight behind the keys but nothing too hard to get use to. Did I mention the pretty lights? My favorite is the ripple effect.
Andrew Loe
I picked this up because I wanted to get a keyboard just for FPS shooters, it was a compact keyboard and game with a black switch option. As I unboxed it, I was impressed with the premium build quality. It's a very sturdy, yet lightweight board. The keys have a very nice feel and sound that make it very satisfying to use. I also appreciate that it came with tools to swap out individual key caps and the switches themselves.
The color effects are easy to navigate and I like that I don't need additional software to manage. It's all done through shortcuts on the board itself.
Being a compact, you may have to get used to the function key shortcuts for typical typing, but this wasn't my intended use.
Joel K
I already have a different brand mechanical keyboard in black with brown switches, but I've been curious how I would like blue switches and this board was nice and cheap. The 60% form factor means it's quite small and easy to toss in a bag or backpack if you're going to be traveling and need a full keyboard. The function keys are reasonably laid out and the LED lighting is very smooth and looks great. It has enough weight and rigidity to feel like it will stand up to heavy typing. Overall no complaints!
Z.K.
I've been using this keyboard for just over a week now. I love the smooth, yet tactile black switches on on this board. Keystrokes are responsive and haven't experienced any ghosting. While light and all plastic, the board feels well made. The RGB effects are vibrant and bright. The software is a bit limited, especially when wanting to customize different regions with different effects, but the prebuild effects are easy enough to customize with the included sliders. I can only hope the lighting and macro software catches up to the overall build quality of the board.
Spencer Siddens
Great hotswappable keyboard, the software is pretty simple but has some good lighting features, the RGB itself on it looks really good as well.
Armando
Had to buy a new Keyboard after my old one broke and im surprised by the quality of this one..
I always read that a good keyboard is above 100$. But this one feels like it ticks all the boxes
So far so good , i got the brown switches and they are very quiet
Wont give a 5 star because it isnt wireless or a 100% keyboard! Other than that its perfect
Amanda
I got this keyboard for two main reasons.
1.) I wanted a quieter keyboard so that I wasn't annoying people that are in close proximity of me while typing.
2.) I wanted to try a 60% keyboard since I have only ever used a full sized one before.
I opted to go for the quietest keys which are the polar opposite of the keyboard I had before this. The key caps are nice and solid (don't feel thin/cheap), and the switches themselves are very smooth. Throughout the whole travel of the key it feels smooth and linear, it does not get easier or harder the more you push the key down. Next, the size. This keyboard is so much smaller than my razer blackwidow elite, that for the first day or two of use it felt weird. Although, after a day or two I am now use to the difference in size. Once concern I had with a smaller keyboard is that it may slide around. This has not been the case for me. For the size it weighs a good amount. It is far from heavy, but weighs enough that it will stay in place on your desk. Next, the software for the keyboard. I personally don't mess with lighting effects too much but I will say that the software is pretty good. It is as easy to use as some of the bigger keyboard manufacturers software.
As far as my two "goals", I would say it accomplishes both of them quite well. The red switches are much less noisy than my razer green ones, and this is a great option for a cost effective 60% keyboard. Although, since the keys do bottom out while typing it still makes a decent amount of noise if you are going full speed. Some o-rings would probably cut that down a lot though. Absolutely a great value for the money. I have not encountered a single issue and I use it for 7+ hours a day.
Overall, I think this keyboard earned a 5 out of 5 easily.

I purchased this board after seeing an ad online. I have always used full sized boards because I work with numbers all day and need the ten key. I have always thought about getting a board dedicated to gaming so I decided to give it a shot. I started life on blue "clicky" switches and quickly grew tired of all the noise so I moved to speed switches. For that reason I ordered the closest thing I could find here with the RED linear switches, and I must say they feel very similar. I am super please with the way the switches feel. They are not scratchy and feel like they are lubed, although I have not torn the unit apart so I am not sure if they are or not. The board feels very solid and has very little rattle when shaking it. Much less rattle than some of the name brand boards I have used in the past. All things considered this is a quality board at a great price. The housing is plastic, but still has a very solid feel. There are no rough spots along any seams. All of the RGB works great and is very bright. I will continue to play around with the board and all of its features, but this might just take top spot on my desk for a while! I might even order a second one for my wife to take with her when she travels! Two thumbs up on this one. If I haven't said it already this is a solid board at a solid price. You get way more than what you pay for on this one. I would recommend this to anyone 100% any day of the week!

This Keyboard ROCKS!
Perfect size. The app has quite a bit of customization, and no there is no spamware or other crap included with their application.
The keyboard itself is pretty good quality. Solid and clean looking. No issues out the box. LEDs are nice and bright. Keycaps are clean and solid. Optical Keys are fast and doesn't wobble much.
Comes with a keycap and key puller. Braided white cable as well.
Overall an amazing purchase and worth every penny!

Have been using this keyboard for 2 weeks and I have a very good experience with it. I bought the brown switch and it's linear and quiet (similar to my razer orange switch). Other advantages are power by USB type C, optical hot-swappable, color change by software (which is a bit glitchy in my opinion).
Cons:
the box it's shipped in has a disgusting petroleum smell
Doesn't come with any manual
The usb C cable has a very weird 90-degree angle

I would like to start out saying I wasn't sure if I would like the 61 keys, mainly because the arrow keys are missing.
However, I am SUPER impressed by this thing! There is a function on the keyboard that turns a set of keys into the arrow keys and it also changes them to have a white color to them so you can see which one they are. I didn't really expect that from a keyboard at this price.
Let me add some points here:
* It comes with a braided USB-C Cable
* Keyboard functions are easy to use
* Key clicks are MINT (I purchased the brown switches)
* RGB lighting is very nice and clean
My only complaint (if you can even call them that) is I wish it had a tad more weight to it, but that is more of a preference. I would recommend this for sure.

Great keyboard for the price!
Would've preferred some better looking keycaps, but that's just preference. The switches feel great, the keyboard is responsive, and the backlighting is better than most keyboards at this price. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I received the variant with black switches and, I've got to say, it's pretty great for gaming.
The black switches are linear, as opposed to tactile or clicky. They feel similar to reds, but require more force to actuate, making them a great option for PC gaming.
This is the first keyboard I own in the 60% size, so that's taken a bit to get used to.
Fortunately, all the keys are labeled to indicate the functions they perform when combined with the fn key. This really came in handy when fiddling with the variety of RGB effects that the keyboard is equipped with.
All in all, if you're looking to start your journey into the world of mechanical keyboards, this is a good place to start. For the price, I recommend picking one of these up to try out yourself.

The Punkston TH61s 60% RGB Backlit Keyboard was a very nice find when browsing for mechanical keyboards.
I have been using this keyboard as my go to keyboard for its compact design and light weight build.
This keyboard edition features Black switches, which personally feels similar to that of blue switches without being obnoxiously loud. I feel that this keyboard fits perfectly for typing enthusiasts and those who enjoy playing video games.
Because this keyboard features a 60% layout, please note that in order to use the directional keys, you need to hold the Fn key down first. This may take some time to get use to learning.
They keyboard is very pleasent to type with and easily fits in my JanSport backpack for easy access for school and work. Because the cable is detachable, I do not have to worry about tangling or damaging it while it is in my backpack.
This is a great keyboard for those interested in getting a white mechanical keyboard.

I want to start this review by saying that I was doubting the quality of this before and as I was buying it but I did it anyways and I was NOT disappointed. this is possibly the best budget keyboard that is well rounded and is great for gaming, typing, and work. this optical switches are lighting fast and they sound better than some big brand keyboards. I was shocked to see that it even had its own lighting software because most keyboards that are not by the biggest brands don't have them with even some of the most popular 60 precents like the ducky one 2 mini and the Anne pro 2 not even having software that go along with them. overall the experience was great, If I ever had a question the support team was there to help me along every step of the way. apart from that the fact that the switches are hot swappable makes it so that anyone who wants to dip there toes into mechanical keyboards can find out what they like and customize it. the quality of the overall build is solid with a sturdy base and the keystrokes feel solid unlike some other hot swappable keyboards. overall the brand is great, the keyboard is great, and the experience of using it is amazing. I would honestly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to get their first mechanical or optical keyboard or anyone that wants to try out different switches/sizes of keyboard without spending hundreds of dollars for the hundreds of dollars quality.

First impressions were pretty good. I had been using a low-profile mechanical keyboard for a while and it was weird to switch back to a standard height keyboard but within a couple of days, I found myself really enjoying both the sound and feel of a full switch. I had chosen the Black switches, as I'm partial to linear, and I have to say that the overall build quality feels great for the price, and despite it being made of plastic, I didn't feel like it wouldn't hold up to a little bit of travel abuse. I do wish it was a little bit bigger to allow the arrow keys to be separate as well as have the other rows for the F keys as well as home/delete/pgup/phdn but those are the sacrifices of a 60% over a 65% keyboard.

As a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, who owns a couple of mechanical keyboards ranging from 20 dollars to 200, I can confidently say this keyboard is worth every penny. The keyboard blew past all my expectations for a keyboard at this price range. The black switches I got are perfect for gaming and also make for a satisfying typing experience. The board itself is also a lot heavier and premium feeling than I expected. The RGB backlight is very strong and shines through the keycaps great. This board also came with a braided USB cable which was a really nice touch that usually isn't found in most keyboards. Finally, this board is hot-swappable which makes it very easy to mod. A few cheap mods (which can be found through a simple google search) would really bring out the best in this keyboard. Overall, this keyboard is one of the best I've seen at this price range and I would highly recommend it.

Good entry level keyboard for those looking for a budget mechanical keyboard. I went with the black switches which feel very similar to cherry MX reds.
The RGB on this keyboard is very bright and the software works really well. You can set each key to your desired color or use one of the effects. You can also customize functions and set custom macros as well using the software.
The switches are hot swappable, meaning you can physically pull each key off the board and insert another. Pudding keycaps would look good on this board as well.
This board looks pretty customizable for enthusiasts. Overall a good keyboard at this price point.

The build quality is solid for this price range. Functionality is more rudimentary as an entry-level 60% but there is little to complain about given its price point, and how much smaller it is compared to a full-sized. RGB lighting is absolutely beautiful even with the stock setting out of the box. The white color scheme may get dirty years down the line, but the RBG lighting simply pops with the white keys. You may want to opt for the black version if you want more muted lighting, but the white version is definitely perfect or my tastes. One thing to get used to is the placement of the arrow keys on a 60% keyboard.
I chose the brown switches and they were as expected, good travel and not too loud compared to my previous old G710 with blue switches. The included key cap remover isn't anything fancy but it does the job. They are basic switches, not enthusiast-level by any means, but perfectly adequate.
What you don't get are flip-out feet, which is found on some pricier models, so the incline is not adjustable. The keyboard is also wired-only, there is no bluetooth connectivity. Software is basic yet it serves its purpose, and it's in English, so there's no need for any guessing when it comes to navigating the software.

Out of the box, this is a solid 60% board. Feels good, optical switches are pretty nice (really good for the price), and it looks pretty great in white with full RGB if you're into that sort of thing.
However, the hot-swappability (that's a word, right?) is where this keyboard really shines. I don't think there's anything like this out there that's hot swappable at this price. So if you're wanting to play around with different switches or you want to mix and match, this is the keyboard to get. Just be careful with what switches you're putting in it, AFAIK it's not compatible with all switches.
As a starter mech or a platform for customization, this is an amazing deal. Would recommend

Overall: 5/5
- Great bang for your buck. No drivers were required to be installed on Windows 11, just plugged this in with the supplied USB-C cable. Highly recommend you give this keyboard a shot, perfect for gaming or for productivity use!
Appearance:
- Very eye appealing, basic keyboard. I am a big fan of clean, simple keyboards, and this is a perfect example of my taste. The font on the keycaps is crisp, with no print imperfections on the actual letters themselves.
- RGB: Lots of color options. Can be cycled through the different presets by using Fn + O. Can also change the intensity of the lights as well as colors. Very satisfied.
Construction:
- Made out of plastic, which I don't find as a flaw as this keyboard is still of high quality. Doesn't have that cheap plastic feel, if that makes sense. Feels very solid, no complaints.
Switches and Keycaps:
- Gateron Blacks: I absolutely love these switches. IMO, love how tactile and linear they feel. If you like "clicky" switches, do not get these as blacks are totally opposite of how these feel. Gateron blacks sound and feel more like a "thump" rather so than a "click".

I am super surpised by the build quality and features for the price. I am only a little bummed as I paid 40$ on Prime Day, as it was 60$ list price, now it's 35$ with Prime. Regardless, the only thing missing is wireless which I dont really care for anyway - I guess I could use it with my phone and Xcloud, but thatd be few and far between.
The plate/case is very solid and we'll built, looks great, the lighting is bright and hits incredibly. Built in effects are numerous and fun.
The switches are swappable without soldering, which is convenient (though I solder regularly) and the Optical Reds used feel great. Its weird coming from the Brown styles I used before, which I wanted linear instead as they felt grindy. These are great, though I actually wish the actuation force was lower but that's something I can change so its all good. I got it for experimentation in that regard anyway.
All the leys that need it have the second functions, and the keycaps feel quite nice also. I do wish they had the second functions on the side, but no biggie.
The cable for the white one is very pretty silvery white, USB C and braided. Could be a little longer but its not stupid short. Also, the port is on the left side, which I think looks nicer than centered. Right side would be ok too.
I havent tried the software yet, but maybe Ill make an update when I do.
